The film revisits the thrilling premise of the 1996 blockbuster Twister, catapulting viewers into the contemporary world of storm chasing with renewed intensity. The film introduces Kate Carter, a brilliant meteorologist haunted by a traumatic encounter with a tornado. Retreating to the safety of New York City, Kate finds herself reluctantly drawn back into the fray by her friend Javi, who convinces her to join him in testing a revolutionary storm-tracking system.
Their paths collide with Tyler Owens, a charismatic daredevil and social media sensation whose adrenaline-fueled storm-chasing escapades have made him a household name. Tyler leads a fearless crew of Tornado Wranglers, capturing the most extreme weather events for his online audience. As the storm season intensifies, these three and their teams find themselves on a collision course with unprecedented meteorological phenomena converging over the plains of central Oklahoma.
