‘The Way Home’: A Timeless Journey through Generations Shines as Cable’s Reigning Favorite
Hallmark Channel’s “The Way Home“ wrapped season 2 at the end of March, earning the title as the most-watched original series on cable for women 18 and over, according to Nielsen.
“The Way Home,” a one-of-a-kind multi-generational time-traveling series, chronicles the adventures of the Landry family. Led by the talented Andie MacDowell (Del), Chyler Leigh (Kat), and Sadie Laflamme-Snow (Alice), the show also features Evan Williams (Elliot Augustine), Jefferson Brown (Colton Landry), and Alex Hook (Teen Kat). The cast participated in a panel with showrunners, executive producers, and co-creators Heather Conkie and Alexandra Clarke, and executive producer/co-creator Marly Reed. Variety’s Emily Longeretta moderated the Q&A.
Hallmark executives came out in support. Attendees included Lisa Hamilton Daly (EVP Programming), Kelly Garrett (VP, Programming), Alice Rao (SVP, Communications & Publicity), Kate Redinger (Sr. Director, Development, Hallmark Media), Jillian Profeta (Director, Programming) and Monica Beld (Manager, Programming).
