Sydney Sweeney takes the lead in The Housemaid, a psychological horror film based on Freida McFadden’s best-selling novel. The story follows Millie, a young woman struggling to find her footing, who lands a live-in housemaid job with the wealthy Winchester family. On the surface, it seems like a dream opportunity, but Millie soon discovers that the family’s luxurious home hides dark secrets and a dangerous power struggle.
Directed by Paul Feig and written by Rebecca Sonnenshine, the film stars Amanda Seyfried as Nina Winchester, the seemingly perfect wife, and Brandon Sklenar as her husband Andrew.
