In this festive comedy adventure, Murphy takes the spotlight as Chris, a man determined to clinch victory in his neighborhood’s cherished annual Christmas home decoration contest. Little does he know that a mischievous elf named Pepper [Jillian Bell] is about to turn his holiday plans upside down. When Chris makes an unintentional deal with Pepper, she conjures up a magical spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to vibrant, chaotic life, unleashing whimsy and chaos throughout the town.

Now, with the holidays in jeopardy for his family, Chris, alongside his wife Carol, [Tracee Ellis Ross], and their three children, must embark on a thrilling race against time to undo Pepper’s mischievous spell, facing off against a host of deviously magical characters in the process. “Candy Cane Lane” is directed by Reginald Hudlin and written by Kelly Younger. It’s a heartwarming tale that promises laughter and holiday cheer for all.

The Gift of Giving

Prime Video proudly partners with the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity to bring smiles and warmth to your holiday season. In the true spirit of giving, they’re offering a chance to win one of 12 extraordinary prize packages, each featuring a $1,000 Amazon.com gift card and a dazzling 65-inch Omni QLED Series smart TV courtesy of Fire TV. How do you enter? By generously donating blood, platelets, or plasma between December 1-31.

A Whimsical Wonderland

Prime Video is also turning Giving Tuesday, November 28, into a day of joy and compassion with a Candy Cane Lane-themed blood drive at The Culver Theater in Culver City. You’ll step into a whimsical holiday wonderland with enchanting trees, garlands, and baubles that bring the movie’s magic to life, courtesy of Balsam Hill®. Inside, you’ll be treated to a festive extravaganza featuring holiday activities, captivating photo opportunities, entertainment, and more.

Darren Irby, Executive Director of Brand Partnerships for the American Red Cross, shares his excitement: “We are thrilled to be teaming up with Prime Video this holiday season. With ‘Candy Cane Lane’ lighting up screens and communities across the country coming together to give blood, we’re thrilled to know new lifesaving family holiday traditions are being created. The Red Cross is thrilled to not only be granting holiday wishes but also delivering the gift of life to patients in need.”

Reginald Hudlin, the director of “Candy Cane Lane,” couldn’t be prouder: “So grateful for all that Habitat for Humanity and the Red Cross do to help people in need. We’re proud to share the amazing work of our production designers and set decorators from the film and see them get put to such good use!”

Spreading Joy House by House

In a heartwarming extension of the movie’s themes, Prime Video is joining forces with Habitat for Humanity to “Candy Cane Lane-ify” a selected neighborhood. Thanks to generous product donations from Balsam Hill and Govee, eight new houses will be transformed into a winter wonderland with smart light displays and stunning holiday decor. Govee will light up the neighborhood with its latest innovative holiday lights and a dynamic light show. Fire TV will outfit each of these homes with a 55-inch Omni QLED Series smart TV so families can stream all their holiday favorites and, of course, “Candy Cane Lane.”

From December 1 to December 20, for every hour you stream “Candy Cane Lane” on Fire TV, Amazon will send $1 to Habitat for Humanity, up to $50,000 as part of the Stream it Forward program.

A Nationwide Effort

Beyond the Candy Cane Lane experience in Los Angeles, Amazon employees will volunteer in Habitat for Humanity build days across the nation. This is part of a larger initiative led by Amazon in the Community, a global program dedicated to building stronger communities. These projects will be enhanced with Ring technologies, thanks to Ring’s $1 million yearly commitment of Ring products and subscriptions to Habitat for Humanity, now in its third year running.

Erin Rank, President & CEO of Habitat LA, expresses her gratitude: “We’re thrilled to continue our collaboration with Amazon to bring to life a Candy Cane Lane in a new Habitat for Humanity development. We’re grateful for Prime Video’s support in making this holiday season truly special for our homeowners. It also underscores the impact organizations like Habitat for Humanity can make when they work together with dedicated partners.”
