Pink or blue? Jeannie Mai Jenkins reveals whether she’s a girl or boy mom
After a few ambiguous social media posts, 'The Real' co-host finally announced - It's a girl!
Jeannie Mai Jenkins, 43, recently welcomed a new baby with husband Jeezy, 44, sharing that her child Monaco is a baby girl. Mai revealed the news on the January 26 episode of “The Real” with her co-hosts.
In a preview clip for Wednesday’s episode, Mai spoke of becoming a mom, describing how raising a girl is an honor to her. “I can’t explain to you how many visions jumped into my head this moment I put that little girl into my hands,” the host shared on air. She spoke on her relationship with “Mama Mai” and how she can’t wait to have that bond with her daughter, Monaco.
“I also thought about all the things that I didn’t learn as a little girl, that I can’t wait to teach my daughter now,” she added. Mai Jenkins went on to talk about how she feels chosen to be a girl mom. “It’s emotional,” she said. The TV personality continued to talk about raising “a really strong, loving, empathetic, humorous, fashionable, fly, little girl.”
On January 11, Mai Jenkins announced the exciting news of baby Monaco’s arrival via Instagram. She posted a picture of a baby blanket covered in footprints with the name tag “Baby Jenkins” close by.
Mai was previously married to Freddy Harteis and had been adamant about not wanting children. This is the first child for the television host.
