First Look: New Series Regulars Eliza Taylor and Peter Gadiot Join Thrilling Season 2 of ‘Quantum Leap’

NBC’s Quantum Leap is back for a second season beginning on October 4 with the addition of Eliza Taylor and Peter Gadiot as series regulars. Taylor is best known for her role as Clarke Griffin in the dystopian science fiction series The 100. The Australian actress is set to play the enigmatic Hannah Carson on Quantum Leap

We first meet Hannah in the third episode of the new season. Hannah comes shrouded in mystery and is described as a complex young woman who may be more than she appears.

Also joining the cast is Peter Gadiot, recognized for his exceptional performance in Showtime’s Yellowjackets. He steps into the shoes of Tom Westfall. As a US Army Officer with a special forces background, Tom is now a high-ranking member of Army Intelligence. Described as thoughtful, centered, and a spiritual warrior, Tom is admired by both men and women, yet his humility prevents him from ever becoming arrogant. His character will play a crucial role in overseeing the project.

In addition to the new regulars, the season 2 premiere episode boasts an impressive lineup of guest stars, including Melissa Roxburgh from Manifest, Francois Arnaud from The Borgias and Blindspot, Aaron Abrams known for Hannibal and Blindspot, and P.J. Byrne, who has made appearances in The Boys and Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

Fans of the show will also be thrilled to welcome back returning stars Raymond Lee, Caitlin Bassett, Ernie Hudson, Mason Alexander Park, and Nanrisa Lee.

Season 2 promises to be a wild ride with several historical leaps, offering viewers a glimpse into different eras, including Russia in 1978, the 1992 Los Angeles riots in Koreatown, and Egypt in 1961, filmed on location in Cairo.

Martin Gero serves as executive producer alongside Dean Georgaris, Deborah Pratt, Chris Grismer, Alex Berger, Steven Lilien, and Bryan Wynbrandt. The production is a collaboration between Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Quinn’s House Productions.

Thrilling new leaps, new series regulars, and exciting guest stars, the new season premieres on October 4 at 8 pm on NBC. Oh, boy!
