New Korean Crime Drama ‘Gangnam B-Side’ Coming to Disney+ (Hulu in the U.S.)

Gangnam B-Side, a new Korean action crime drama, will be streaming exclusively on Disney+ (Hulu in the United States) later this year.

The crime series follows an outcast detective as he is pulled back into the deep underworld of the Gangnam district in Seoul after the disappearance of his daughter’s friend, the latest in a long line of missing women. Facing a world of vice, drugs, and corruption, he makes it his mission to rescue her and, in doing so, discovers a truth that threatens to topple some of the city’s wealthiest elite.

Jo Woojin leads the cast as the elite officer and shunned detective Kang Dongwoo, and Ji Changwook joins him as back alley enforcer Yoon Gilho. Gangnam B-Side was written by Joo Wongyu and directed by Park Noori.
