Netflix cancels ‘Partner Track’ after only one season

Sad news for fans of Partner Track. Netflix’s legal drama is canceled only three months after the show’s August 26 premiere. The show was canceled along with The Imperfects. According to the streamer, neither one was a breakout.

Partner Track (based on Helen Wan’s book) starred Arden Cho as Ingrid Yun, Dominic Sherwood as Jeff Murphy, Rob Heaps as Nick Laren, Desmond Chiam as Z, and Rich Ting as Carter Min. Series creator, Georgia Lee, wrapped season 1 on a cliffhanger, leaving fans with a few loose ends.

Partner Track had reached the No. 4 spot on Netflix’s Weekly Top 10 list for English-language series, holding its place for three weeks. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for Netflix to consider it for season renewals.

Partner Track debuted with 16.7 million minutes viewed during its opening weekend. As for Cho, she will next appear in the Netflix series Avatar: The Last Airbender.
