Batter up, because this next one is a home run! Major League Baseball and the Los Angeles Dodgers joined forces to unveil their new All-Star schedule for fans starting this summer on Friday, July 15 through Tuesday, July 19. The events will be located in three iconic locations around Los Angeles: Dodger Stadium, L.A. Live, and Santa Monica Pier & Beach.
CAPITAL ONE ALL-STAR OCEANFRONT: Friday, July 15 – 17 at Santa Monica Pier & Beach
First up, MLB All-Star Week opens with its first-ever beach event on Friday, July 15, when Capital One All-Star Oceanfront starts at the Santa Monica Pier & Beach. The event is free of charge and will run through Sunday, July 17. There will be casual and instructional youth baseball & softball activities on the beach directly south of the pier. In addition, there will be daily All-Star Yoga classes with the Pacific Ocean as your backdrop.
On Saturday, July 16, MLB will also partner with Heal the Bay for a beach clean-up in Santa Monica. The MLB Green Team Event is part of the league’s continued efforts to promote sustainability and environmental awareness through community efforts.
MLB LIVE IN DTLA: Saturday, July 16 – Tuesday, July 19 at L.A. Live
On Saturday, July 16, MLB Live in DTLA gets underway with Capital One PLAY BALL PARK. This is the world’s biggest and most playable baseball & softball festival. It will be held inside and outside the Los Angeles Convention Center and throughout the L.A. Live campus. This fan-focused event blends baseball, softball, music, food, technology, and fashion with MLB celebrities that will include Hall of Famers, All-Stars, Olympians, broadcasters, and other legends of the game. There will be interactive games, clinics, exhibits, exclusive merchandise, and autograph stations throughout the convention center. You can find other special fan experiences outside around L.A. Live. Tickets are available for the indoor portion of PLAY BALL PARK at AllStarGame.com.
The 2022 MLB Draft will also take place at MLB Live in DTLA. The first round is scheduled for Sunday night, July 17, on Xbox Plaza in the middle of L.A. Live. It will be televised on MLB Network, so make sure you tune in. The 30 Clubs will be represented by former players and Club officials which will feature Hall of Famers and former All-Stars.
The final event for MLB Live in DTLA will be the All-Star Red Carpet Show on Tuesday, July 19, where fans can see the 2022 MLB All-Stars and their families dressed to the nines on the classic Hollywood Red Carpet. Come see your favorite players out of uniform!

MLB All-Star Week’s action on the field begins Saturday, July 16, at historic Dodger Stadium with the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game. This will be followed by the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game. It’s the first time that both will take place on a Saturday. The MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game includes stars from the stage, screen, music, sports, and the internet, along with MLB legends.
