KCON announces in-person events and reveals initial lineup of artists

The global fan festival is celebrating its 10-year anniversary

Calling all K-pop lovers! KCON is back and better than ever! Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the convention will be offering both in-person and virtual attendance opportunities. This comes after a two-year hiatus due to the worldwide pandemic. KCON is a global fan festival that celebrates Korean music and culture beloved by people of all ages and ethnicities.

In its 10 years, past events have featured K-pop icons such as BTS, Girl’s Generation, and G-Dragon. KCON was held virtually for the past two years through their YouTube channel. In 2020, “KCON: TACT” was launched as the world’s first-ever online K-Culture Festival. This year’s festival will have kick-off “Premiere” events throughout May in Seoul, Tokyo, and Chicago, before heading to its flagship Los Angeles location in August for the main festivities.

The KCON 2022 Premiere in Seoul will include performances by MONSTA X, NMIXX, THE BOYZ, STAYC, Highlight, TO1, NiziU, and the contestants from Mnet’s “Queendom 2” – VIVIZ, LOONAWJSN, Brave Girls, Kep1er, and Hyolyn. Each city’s lineup will showcase different artists. If you can’t attend in person, you can stay up to date via the digital program “KCON: TACT.”
