K-Dramas ‘Thirty-Nine’ and ‘Juvenile Justice’ crack Netflix’s Global Top 10

K-dramas are red hot! According to FlixPatrol, South Korea’s “Thirty-Nine” and “Juvenile Justice” both made the cut into Netflix’s Global Top 10 rankings.
South Korea is known for its market dominance when it comes to rom-coms and K-dramas, but with the emergence of recent hits, they’re showing the whole world what they’re made of.
“Thirty-Nine” is the story of three unmarried women and their close friendship. It shows what happens when illness forces them to dig back into their memories and how best to make the most of their left time. It stars “Crash Landing On You” actress Son Ye-Jin, who recently announced her engagement to CLOY co-star Hyun-Bin. The series finale is set to air on March 10.
“Juvenile Justice,” the second Korean Netflix original of the year, premiered just this past Friday, Feb. 25.
