In light of the increased attacks and xenophobia toward Asian Americans in the last two years, VOICES is a new national organization that is committed to uplifting Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in communications. Representation matters and having a forum where Asian American voices and points of view can be shared is crucial to combating misinformation and racism. The organization is inaugurating on Tuesday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 2. Join the esteemed group of AAPI leaders in making positive changes with the motto “Strength. Change. Impact.”
As VOICES begins its uphill battle to promote AAPI image and representation in the media, now more than ever it is needed. On Tuesday, March 1, we’ll see the first panel that will include co-founders. This list includes Jennifer Cho, CEO of the Wing; Bill Imada, Chairman of the IW Group; Jacqueline Vu, Senior VP of the Pollack Group to name a few. These experts will share their thoughts, views, and perspectives on why AAPIs need to elevate their VOICES in communications and other related fields to extol and create a positive space for Asian Americans in the media. The program starts promptly at 6 pm ET.
