Hugh Jackman, Sarah Snook, Demi Lardner, and Michael Cusack to Voice Hulu Adult Animated Series ‘Koala Man’
Hugh Jackman, Sarah Snook, Demi Lardner, and Michael Cusack will lend their voices for Hulu’s Koala Man, which premieres on Jan. 9 on the streaming platform.
Cusack (YOLO: Crystal Fantasy, Smiling Friends) is the show’s creator and voices the titular hero, Koala Man, a middle-aged dad named Kevin who is a stickler for rules and passionate about snuffing out petty crime in his Australian suburb hometown of Dapto. Kevin takes up his not-so-secret identity as Koala Man to protect Daptonians from villainous masterminds, supernatural horrors, and, most importantly, rule breakers.
The Wolverine star, Jackman, will voice the character of Big Greg, Sarah Snook will voice Vicky, and Demi Lardner will voice Alison. Also joining the cast are Jemaine Clement, Rachel House, and Jarrad Wright, with guest appearances from Miranda Otto and Hugo Weaving.
Cusack also executive produces the adult animated series along with Justin Roiland (Solar Opposites, Rick and Morty), Dan Hernandez (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu), Benji Samit (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu), and Michael Cowap. 20th Television Animation for Hulu produces the show.
