The Hollywood Critics Association was created to bring together an inclusive and passionate group of voices that collectively represent a new era in Hollywood. Diversity is essential in criticism, and the HCA wants to ensure that all voices are represented within our organization. Our membership comprises over 125 critics and entertainment journalists from the United States and abroad.
Unlike most critic groups, the Hollywood Critics Association is a year-round organization that discusses film and television throughout the year and not only during award season. The members of the Hollywood Critics Association participate in grade books, podcasts, after-shows, and monthly social media projects. In addition, the HCA has two yearly awards ceremonies; the HCA Film Awards in the winter and the HCA TV Awards in the summer. Our award shows are quickly becoming a favorite of nominees and winners alike, as they are intimate and memorable evenings.
