Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures are getting ready to release the next chapter in the Godzilla versus Kong saga with Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire on March 29. In anticipation of the film’s release, the companies released a new trailer.
This new film delves further into the origins and histories of these beings as well as the mysteries of Skull Island. It will also reveal the mythic battle that helped forge them and tied them to humankind forever.
Some stars reprising their roles from the previous installment include Rebecca Hall (The Night House), Brian Tyree Henry (Bullet Train), and Kaylee Hottle. New stars joining them are Dan Stevens (Gaslit, Legion), Alex Ferns (The Batman, Wrath of Man), and Fala Chen (Irma Vep, Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).
Adam Wingard returned to direct Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire with Terry Rossio (Godzilla vs. Kong, Pirates of the Caribbean series), Simon Barrett (You’re Next), and Jeremy Slater (Moon Knight) as the writers. The film is produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric Mcleod, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, and Brian Rogers, with executive producers Wingard, Jen Conroy, Jay Ashenfelter, Yoshimitsu Banno, and Kenji Okuhira.
