Definitely not your warm and fuzzy children’s story after all! The first trailer for Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey has been released, and it’s more blood than honey.
The movie stars Craig David Dowsett (Winnie) and Chris Cordell (Piglet), who go on a bender after Nikolai Leon (Christopher Robin) leaves them to head to college. Without the good and nurturing love of their beloved human, they turn bloodthirsty and seek out prey near their home.
The film was shot over the span of 10 days near the Ashdown Forest in England, the inspiration for the Hundred Acre Woods in the original stories. To make sure there were no copyright issues with Disney, certain elements were changed including Pooh’s iconic red shirt. Take a look and see for yourself if you’re more Team Honey or Team Blood.
