Our favorite god of mischief is set to return on Oct. 6 in Loki Season 2, and Marvel Studios has given us a glimpse of what to expect with the release of the official trailer.
The trailer finds Loki time slipping–disappearing randomly and being pulled into different periods–giving him a glimpse into possible outcomes as the threat of impending doom for the world is on the horizon. Loki must once again team up with TVA agent Mobius to help stop the utter destruction heading their way but only after facing the difficult decision of deciding who lives and dies.
Tom Hiddleston returns to reprise his role as the god of mischief Loki, with Owen Wilson also returning as agent Mobius. Other stars returning to reprise their roles are Sophia Di Martino as Loki variant Sylvie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Rensleyer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, and Jonathan Majors as a possible variant of He Who Remains/Kang the Conqueror. In the trailer, we also get a glimpse of a new cast member, recent Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan who has yet to have a character name released but seems to be part of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) and will help Loki and Mobius in their journey to save the world.
Loki Season 2 will be released on Disney+.
