We all love a good superhero, but when the caped crusaders are man’s best friend, we love them even more! Warner Bros. just dropped the trailer for their newest animated adventure film coming this summer with Dwayne Johnson as the voice of Krypto the Super-Dog in “DC League of Super-Pets.” The film is directed by Jared Stern.
Kevin Hart, Johnson’s frequent collaborator, “SNL” star Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, and Marc Maron, among others, are in the film.
Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends in the film, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side-by-side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince his team, consisting of a potbellied pig, turtle, and squirrel, to band together and save the Super Heroes!
“DC League of Super-Pets” will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in theaters internationally beginning July 27 and in North America on July 29.
