First Look: Apple TV+ Reveals Trailer for ‘Make or Break’

The docuseries highlights the extraordinary world of competitive surfing

Apple TV+ just released a new trailer for the seven-part documentary series, “Make or Break.” The series gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the world’s greatest surfers as they compete for the World Title at the World Surf League Championship Tour.

Season 1 highlights the 2021 competition. World-renowned surfers such as Kelly Slater, Stephanie Gilmore, Gabriel Medina, Tyler Wright, Italo Ferreira, and Tatiana Weston-Webb are all featured along their journey. Apple TV+ has already announced an early Season 2 renewal. Production is currently underway for the 2022 competition season.

The trailer highlights the world’s best surfers and the world’s best waves. Slater and others can be seen opening up about their title-winning goals, milestone moments, exciting adventures, some intense scenarios, and the challenges they face.

The upcoming docuseries is produced for Apple by Box to Box Films, in partnership with the WSL. James Gay-Rees (“Exit Through the Gift Shop,” “Amy”), Paul Martin (“Formula 1: Drive to Survive”), WSL CEO Erik Logan and Ryan Holcomb all serve as executive producers.

“Make or Break” begins streaming on Apple TV+ on April 29.
