Review: Deli Boys – A Darkly Hilarious, Must-Watch Ride
Deli Boys follows two brothers, played by Asif Ali and Saagar Shaikh, who inherit their late father’s deli—only to discover it’s a front for his underground cocaine empire. As they get pulled into the dangerous world he left behind, they must navigate crime, chaos, and power-hungry allies. But most of all, they must try and stay alive.
It’s the kind of show that sneaks up on you. It’s unexpected, razor-sharp, and refreshingly original. It masterfully blends absurd comedy with the brutal reality of what life is like behind the drug-smuggling world, giving us a roller coaster of emotions that keeps us hooked from start to finish.
With its blend of sharp comedy and brutal crime drama. Ali and Shaikh shine as brothers Mir and Raj, navigating their new lives.
Poorna Jahgannathan as Auntie Lucky is equal parts terrifying and hilarious, stealing every scene she’s in.
