Create Advertising Expands Global Reach with Trio of Executive Promotions

Create Advertising, known for its successful campaigns on blockbuster films like Venom: The Last Dance, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and The Crown, has announced the promotion of three key executives as part of its strategy to strengthen its creative offering and expand its global presence.

Since founding the London office in 2010, Suneil Beri has helped Create Advertising become a powerhouse in the UK. Beri, now based in Los Angeles, has just been promoted to EVP, Executive Creative Director. In his new role, he will oversee the agency’s creative vision on a global scale, expanding its reach across clients and campaigns worldwide. Beri will continue to maintain corporate oversight of the London office while working closely with teams across the globe to deliver bold and innovative marketing campaigns.

Joining him in a key leadership position is Vijay Sodhi, who has been elevated to Managing Director of Create’s London office. Sodhi started at Create as a production assistant in 2010 and has since led creative and design teams on high-profile campaigns for films such as Deadpool 2 and Cruella. In his new position, he will handle the day-to-day operations of the London office and guide its growth moving forward.

Meanwhile, Rosh Thanki has been promoted to Global Creative Director of Social and Digital, a newly created role that will see her lead cross-continental creative teams focused on social media and digital marketing. Thanki, based in both London and Los Angeles, will be responsible for crafting campaigns across social media platforms like TikTok and Meta, expanding Create’s reputation in the digital space.

Jonathan Gitlin, President of Create Advertising, said in a statement, “We are thrilled to see Suneil return to Los Angeles in this expanded role, bringing his wealth of experience and creative leadership to the forefront. Vijay’s promotion to Managing Director recognizes his deep commitment to Create, while Rosh’s expertise in social and digital creative will enable us to serve our clients in new and innovative ways.”

Beri also shared his excitement about the agency’s future: “As the entertainment landscape becomes more global, our mission is to create campaigns that resonate with audiences everywhere. I’m excited to lead this next chapter and continue to bring together diverse talent to push the boundaries of creativity.”

This reshuffling of leadership comes on the heels of several major campaign successes for Create, including Baby Reindeer (which recently won Gold at both the GEMA UK and Clio Entertainment Awards) and The Greatest Showman, among many others. With a robust presence in both London and Los Angeles, Create Advertising is poised to continue making waves in the world of entertainment marketing.

For more than a decade, Create has been at the forefront of cinematic trailer and social media campaigns, working with top-tier clients across the film, gaming, and television industries. Under the leadership of CEO David Stern and President Jonathan Gitlin, the agency has been honored with multiple awards, including Clios, Golden Trailers, and Promax accolades.

With this new wave of leadership, Create Advertising looks to further cement its position as a global leader in entertainment marketing, bringing unforgettable campaigns to audiences across the world.
