Comic-Con may be over, but the 2022 announcements are still sinking in. Last week, a new trailer for the martial arts action-comedy Baby Assassins was dropped. The film is directed by Hugo Sakamoto and stars Akari Takaishi, stuntwoman Saori Izawa (Snake Eyes, Rurouni Kenshin), and Masanori Mimoto (Enter the Fat Dragon, Yakuza Apocalypse, Hydra).
Acting on orders from upper management, teenage assassins Chisato (Takaishi) and Mahiro (Izawa) must hold down regular jobs and share an apartment while they work undercover. After an unfortunate run-in with a Yakuza member, the duo must stick together to survive an epic fight for their lives.
Baby Assasins will be out on Blu-ray and DVD on August 16 and is available early to Hi-YAH! subscribers.
