BTS fans are in for a treat! The Korean superstars have announced they are set to release their next studio album THIS summer on June 10. Their entertainment company revealed the news in a statement sending the BTS Army into a frenzy!
BTS’ upcoming album was first teased during the final night of the award-winning group’s four-night residency in Las Vegas. At the concert, the date “2022.06.10” — or June 10 — appeared onscreen at the show’s end, along with the tagline: “We Are Bulletproof.” That gave fans a sneak peek into what the new album could be about and set the stage for a momentous debut.
BTS is comprised of seven members whose names include: V, RM, Jungkook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, and Jimin. The group’s new album will be the first they’ve released since their LP Be, back in November 2020.
They previously released a compilation album, BTS, the Best, in June 2021 and an EP, Butter (Hotter, Sweeter, Cooler), that same month. BTS has been nominated for multiple Billboard awards and have broken records on so many fronts.
Earlier this month, Snoop Dogg confirmed a collaboration was in the works. The group also recently teamed up with legendary music group Coldplay.
