BLACKPINK, BTS, Joji, and Sandra Oh nominated for 2023 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Asian Americans are more visible than ever when it comes to the awards circuit! Asian and Pacific Islander stars such as BLACKPINK, BTS, Joji, and Sandra Oh are all nominees at this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards (KCAs).

Blackpink was nominated for Favorite Global Music Star and Favorite Music Group, while BTS also earned a nod for Favorite Music Group. Last year at the 2022 KCAs, BTS took home the award Favorite Music Group. It was the K-pop sensation’s third time in a row, breaking their own Guinness World Record for the most Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards blimps won for Favorite Music Group. Joji for Favorite Breakout Artist and Bella Poarch for Favorite Social Music Star are among the other music nominees this year. Both Chloe Kim and Naomi Osaka are nominated in the Favorite Female Sports Star category. 

Charli D’Amelio and Nate Burleson will host the awards ceremony, which is voted by Nickelodeon fans from around the world. The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards will be held on March 4 at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles
