Billie Eilish Debuts Music Video in Advance of ‘Barbie’ Movie Release

Billie Eilish has just debuted her music video “What Was I Made For,” a song featured in the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures’ Barbie movie.

The video shows Eilish in a Barbie-styled pony hairstyle and retro outfit, playing with doll clothing. She continues rearranging the tiny outfits as the soulful ballad plays on. According to Rolling Stone, the entire video is one continuous shot and was directed by the Grammy award winner herself.

Eilish joins other major artists on the soundtrack produced by Mark Ronson, including Dua Lipa, Lizzo, and Ice Spice. The Barbie soundtrack and movie are both slated to be released on July 21.

The highly anticipated movie will feature Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles of Barbie and Ken. Kate McKinnon, America Ferrera, Issa Rae, Michael Cera, Will Ferrell, and Simu Liu will also join the film’s star-studded cast.
