“Beverly Hills, 90210” Celebrates 35th Anniversary with 4K Digital Release

It’s been 35 years since audiences first tuned in to watch a group of California teens navigate love, friendship, and drama in Beverly Hills, 90210. On October 4, 1990, the show premiered and quickly became a cultural touchstone, catapulting its young cast into stardom and setting the tone for teen dramas that followed.
To mark the anniversary, Paramount Home Entertainment is releasing the entire series in 4K Ultra High Definition for the first time. Beginning October 20, 2025 all 10 seasons will be available digitally, both individually and as a complete bundle.
Created by Darren Star, the series followed twins Brandon and Brenda Walsh as they adjusted to life in the elite world of Beverly Hills, while tackling storylines that blended the glossy allure of Southern California with grounded explorations of teenage and young adult issues. The cast included Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Luke Perry, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, and Tori Spelling – names that would become synonymous with the ‘90s TV boom.
Reflecting on the milestone, Star said he remains struck by the show’s longevity. “It’s hard to believe it’s been 35 years since Beverly Hills, 90210 first premiered. I’m so proud of the show’s lasting impact and grateful to the cast, crew, and fans who have kept its legacy alive.”
For the new release, episodes have been fully remastered from original film elements, with updated sound, color grading, and aspect ratios. The digital upgrade aims to give longtime fans a fresh way to revisit the series while introducing it to new audiences who may have only encountered its influence secondhand through modern teen dramas.
The remastered Beverly Hills, 90210 arrives October 20 on digital platforms.
