Apple TV+ Releases Trailer for Christian Dior Drama ‘The New Look’
Apple TV+ has released the trailer for The New Look, a series depicting the rise of fashion designer Christian Dior in Paris during the WWII era.
Inspired by true events, The New Look will tell the story of Dior as he rises to prominence in the fashion world at a difficult time for the city of Paris and the world. The series will also follow the stories of Dior’s fashion contemporaries, including Pierre Balmain, Cristóbal Balenciaga, and Coco Chanel. In the trailer, audiences get a glimpse into the rivalry between Dior and Chanel.
Ben Mendelsohn is stepping into the shoes of iconic Dior, with Juliette Binoche joining him as the also iconic Chanel. The series boasts a star-studded cast, including David Kammenos, Maisie Williams, John Malkovich, Emily Mortimer, Claes Bang, and Glenn Close. Todd A. Kessler is the creator of the series.
The New Look will debut on Apple TV+ just in time for Valentine’s Day with three episodes on Feb. 14, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until April 3.
