The 2022 Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) TV Awards is celebrating several fan-favorite series with its first round of winners.
The annual ceremony kicked off by honoring the best and brightest of Broadcast networks and Cable television. The two-night event set at the Beverly Hilton opened with The Daily Show‘s Dulcé Sloan hosting the Saturday festivities. Tig Notaro is slated to helm the streaming awards portion of the ceremony on Sunday, August 14.
Among the night’s biggest winners were HBO‘s The White Lotus, ABC‘s freshman favorite Abbott Elementary, the final season of AMC‘s Better Call Saul, along with nods for other acclaimed hits like Succession and This Is Us. Other honorable winners of the night included Barry and FX‘s What We Do in the Shadows.
